Parsons provides an
extensive portfolio of training services to the US Army at training commands,
ranges, and facilities worldwide. The National Training Center (NTC) at Ft
Irwin California has a requirement for experienced Training and Analysis
Feedback Facility (TAF) Lead(s) to supervise Mission Support services for
live-fire and maneuver training operations. The TAF lead is the representative
for military Task Force Senior Trainer and Senior Military Analyst in the TAF
The TAF Lead(s) ensures the availability and synchronization of advisory
services, technical expertise and provides oversight to contract trainers,
subject matter experts and systems operators within the TAFF. The TAFF Lead
ensures that the contractor workforce delivers training outcomes that fully
support the readiness of our Army maneuver unitsconducting training at
the NTC. The TAFF Lead position is located at and performs duties at the
National Training Center. This position is contingent upon award.


SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES:


The lead will be a
proactive analyst beyond tech support and battle tracking. Current on
relevant doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), the TAF Lead
will stay abreast of the Task Force Senior Trainers and Observer/Coach (OC)
team's observations. The TAF Lead will provide timely tech support and
proactive doctrinal / TTP relevant AAR coaching recommendations
throughout the rotation culminating in preparation and delivery of final AAR /
Take Home Packages and other output products.


The TAF Lead will
provide contractor workforce oversight and assist in providing real-time data,
monitoring and tracking, data collection/preparation, audio visual/computer
operations, and training analysis functions.


The TAF Lead will
coordinate the communication between the replicated Division Tactical
Operations Center (DTOC) and each TAF to develop the Community of Practice
(COP) for use in providing feedback and analysis products that reflect trends
in the unit.


The TAF Lead will
operate workstations across Army Mission Command System and NTC Instrumentation
System suites, validate instrumentation equipment, and track tactical
operations.The TAF Lead operate tactical and Range Communication System
(RCS) radio systems.


Themonitor, input data, provide
observations, and conduct analysis of information derived from unit provided
reports and Operational Centers to provide a clear common operating picture
that enables the OC to see opportunities, shortfalls, and provide predictive
assessments of the unit's ability to complete the tactical task/mission.


The TAF Lead will
assist or independently operate AV systems and equipment in the execution of
AARs.


The TAF Lead will
prepare products for pre and post rotational briefings.


The TAF Lead will
maintain proficiency on DTOC and TAFF systems to support the mission.


The Contractor shall
be proficient on new or correct techniques used to conduct analysis, develop
AARs, provide feedback, and identify trends in support of the training
rotation.


The TAF Lead will participate
in Professional Development Work Groups and other professional development
tasks as required. Other duties as may be appropriate for this position.


Qualifications:


+ Bachelor's degree in a technical/business field MEL 4 or equivalentpreferred

+ Former maneuver BN S3 or XO (minimum 18months). Both preferred 18 -36 months.

+ 3+ years staff experience (any combination BN, BDE, DIV, JOINT)

+ Operational deployment recency (within 5 years. OIF, OEF, COCOM missionsie AFRICOM, PACOM, etc)

+ Full Spectrum / Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) experiencedesired (operational and / or CTC; Warfighter)

+ Combat Training Center (CTC) experience desired (OC, DCOG, TAF, etc)

+ CPOF or JCR trained

+ Must have and maintain secret eligibility.
